Case: Chocolate cocoa pod
Barry Callebaut is the largest chocolate manufacturer in the world. The origin of the chocolate is the cocoa pod. To honor the cocoa pod, we have developed the very first 3D printed chocolate cocoa bean in the world in collaboration with Barry Callebaut.
We developed a form concept for Barry Callebaut; a digital 1-to-1 copy of a real cocoa pod from South America. The digital model was then printed in real chocolate (limited numbers) and decorated by the chocolatiers of Oonk.
